Railriders bone flats pants (pacific crest trail thru-hike)
How does a dirty haven't-showered-in-two-weeks kind of hiker get a ride into town along a lonely stretch of road? By looking good on and off the trail, thats how!
LIKES: Having used the RR EcoMesh pants and Madison River shirt during my AT thru-hike, I was well acquainted with the durability and quality of RailRiders clothing. I wanted pants that would breathe well during the scorching 100F* days in the desert, but that would also look good around town during my resupply stops. Thus, my logical choice was to once again look at what I was familiar with. Fast drying, breathable, classy looking, and durable. What more could I possibly want in a pair of hiking pants? Nothing.
DISLIKES: No real dislikes at all, though having a pair of pants with a permanent mesh panel in them means that dust will collect along your legs where the mesh is. Not really a problem, since I preferred the increased breathability over the dusty legs.
SUMMARY: Still looking hardly worn, I've put almost 1,000 miles of hiking into these pants and they are still going strong. A+ for any adventure, anywhere.
