Cute, and with a kind of "wilderness done light" attitude about their limited protected woods, Jersey is all right. The bugs in Jersey however, are not cool. The trail winds through a few protected wetlands areas, which basically means that you will get eaten alive if you hike through at the wrong time. "Walk faster, I think your tan has gone pale...and those mosquitoes are looking pretty fat."
