zpacks arc blast 52l cuben backpack (1st gen)
Question: How does a person go about carrying all their belongings on their back for 2,600 miles?
Answer: Hopefully in comfort. With some careful thought about what you'll be carrying, and a little trail and error, you CAN have a comfortable backpack. And no, this answer is not a daily double Alex (subtle Trebek reference there, just thought I'd point it out, very subtly mind you).
I've wandered about with this pack for around 2,400 miles in California, Oregon, and Washington wildernesses. Here are my thoughts on this cuben fiber ultralight-framed pack.
NOTE: I carried a 1st generation of this pack. It had a number of issues that have since been resolved with the introduction of the 2nd generation pack seen here.
