Who am I ?
Born and raised in Connecticut, I'm a New Englander that is as equally thrilled on a mountain peak as I am by exploring the mossy recesses of the shadowed valleys. I began my love of the outdoors at birth, with yearly family trips into the Thousand Islands region of Canada. I grew up with a love of sailing, boating, and fishing, and gradually began to try my hand at photography. During high-school, I expanded my outdoor pursuits to both on and off road triathlons, and eventually marathons. It wasn't until I was out of college that my dabbling in longer travels, and increasingly harder physical challenges started to become a real interest. When I took my first week long hike, along Dublin's Wicklow way, I was hooked for life. Being immersed in new places, new people, and new challenges never cease to stir within me a longing for what is around the next bend.
Hopefully, you will take some time to read about my own adventures. I write them down here, not because I think that I'll forget them, but because I hope that you will be inspired to take your own adventure. Take some time outdoors along a scenic trail. Hike. Bike. Run. Sail. Paddle. Or just bask in sunbeams along a quiet path, simply caught up in thought, or reading a good book.
I love to learn, and thrive on acclimating myself to the steep learning curve that comes with undertaking new adventures, and new ways to explore the outdoors. I hope you'll learn, laugh, and be inspired by what I share. Cheers, Seth Brewer
